RED EYE GROUPConnecting People to the Policy

Privacy policy

Effective October 25, 2026

This policy explains how Red Eye Group Holdings, Inc., doing business as Red Eye Group (“Red Eye,” “we,” or “us”), handles information collected through redeyegroup.com, Red Eye Gov, and Red Eye Kids. The Kids website experience and native apps are described separately below.

Information we collect

  • Information you send us, such as your name, email address, and the contents of messages you send to admin@redeyegroup.com.
  • Account information you provide when you use an account-based service, such as Red Eye Gov. Red Eye Kids does not require an account.
  • Basic technical information, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, which our hosting provider may process to deliver and protect this site.

How we use it

We use this information to respond to you, provide and improve our services, keep them secure, and meet legal obligations.

What we don’t do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with political campaigns, parties, or advocacy groups.

Service providers

We use service providers for hosting, email, and similar functions. They may process information on our behalf only to provide those services. Redacted excerpts of feedback and reported answer problems may be processed by our AI provider to draft internal improvement briefs; feedback reply emails and account IDs are not included in those requests.

In regular Red Eye Gov, a signed-in user can ask for an alert when a slow answer is ready. We store that device or browser push token with the requested answer and use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver a generic alert and a link to the saved conversation. The alert does not include the question or answer. Completed or failed requests are deleted after 30 days, inactive tokens and delivery records after 90 days, and account deletion removes the related push data. Red Eye Kids does not use this feature.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing admin@redeyegroup.com.

Red Eye Kids

Red Eye Kids is an educational experience for students in Grade 3 through high school, including children under 13. It offers reviewed lessons and answers about Missouri government. The Kids experience has no account, advertising, analytics, open-ended AI chat, or way for children to exchange messages with other users. We do not ask children for their name or contact information.

In the Red Eye Kids iOS and Android apps, searching the reviewed catalog, autocomplete, quiz answers, bookmarks, and learning progress stay on the device. The apps make anonymous requests for reviewed content updates. Our hosting provider processes the IP address and request details needed to deliver and protect those updates. The apps do not send a child’s submitted question, quiz answers, or learning progress to our servers.

A grown-up can choose to send feedback from the Red Eye Kids apps after passing the grown-up check. That sends only the feedback category, message, and optional reply email to Red Eye Gov. The child’s questions and progress are not attached. Regular Red Eye Gov mobile app feedback similarly includes the category, message, and optional reply email. A redacted excerpt of a grown-up’s feedback may be used to draft an internal improvement brief with our AI provider; the reply email is not included.

Earlier versions of the regular Red Eye Gov mobile apps included a Kids mode that could send part of a typed question to our server for autocomplete matching. That text was not sent to an AI provider or saved as a conversation.

In Red Eye Kids mode on the Red Eye Gov website, autocomplete runs in the browser. A question the child submits is sent to our server to find a match in our reviewed catalog. We do not send it to an AI provider or save it to a chat account or question database. The conversation and grade selection last for the current page visit. A Kids mode cookie keeps that mode selected for 30 days; entering Kids mode clears the regular anonymous session cookie. We do not run product analytics in Kids mode. Our hosting provider processes connection details to deliver and protect the service; routine Kids API request logs are excluded from stored Cloud Logging.

Parents and caregivers can remove locally saved app progress in the app or by uninstalling it. They can clear the website’s Kids mode cookie in their browser. If a child includes personal information in a question or a message to us, contact admin@redeyegroup.com so we can address the request. Links to outside sites have their own privacy practices; in the native apps, those links are behind a grown-up check.

Other services and children

Regular Red Eye Gov accounts and services outside Red Eye Kids are intended for people 13 and older. If you believe a child has provided personal information through one of those services, email admin@redeyegroup.com.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
